2017 Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) County Directors Spring Training Conference

Becky Schwartz Corbett, MSW, ACSW will be presenting at the Alabama DHR County Directors Spring Training Conference, June 12-13, in Birmingham, Alabama, in conjunction with The University of Alabama School of Social Work Child Welfare Program. The purpose of the LAMAS (Leadership and Management and Supervision) Training program is to provide leadership training for social workers and other professionals practicing in the Child Welfare field in every county in the State of Alabama.

This year’s leadership themes will focus on four (4) areas:

  1. Building the perfect leader
  2. Owning my leadership journey and implementing our county’s dream
  3. Creating change and asking great questions
  4. Leadership Meets Producktivity®

County Directors, assistant directors, and representatives from the State office will gather for this interactive training. They will leave inspired to be a better leader, having strengthened their leadership journey ownership, and ready to implement their 2017 Leadership Action Plan.
