Social Work is My Profession…Developing ME as a Professional Social Worker

Becky Schwartz Corbett, MSW, ACSW, leadership consultant and adjunct faculty, will be facilitating an orientation session for BSW students at The University of Alabama, School of Social Work on Tuesday, March 21. BSW students enrolled in their Human Behavior and the Social Environment class will have a special session: Social Work is My Profession…Developing ME as a Professional Social Worker. Students will learn what it means to be a professional social worker; understand the importance of job preparation and career success; and obtain an overview of professional development resources. Ms. Corbett will highlight 15 reasons social work is a profession and welcome students to their chosen field.
