Becky Schwartz Corbett and Mande Ellison-Weed will be kicking off another Collaborative Solutions’ Rural Supportive Housing Initiative (RSHI) in Orange Beach, Alabama, from October 26-28, 2016. The purpose of the RSHI is to work with organizations and communities to improve and increase permanent supportive housing for vulnerable populations in rural communities across the U.S. We are excited to introduce our second cohort to the Leadership Institute Peer Leader Network program. Dedicated leaders were selected from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi to participate in this intensive 6-month program. Participants will begin with an in-person interactive training focused on:

  • Learning: It’s All About ME…Leading
  • Hearing: Why Rural Matters?
  • Discussing: Relationship Building
  • Modeling: Effective Peer Leaders Network support
  • Developing: My Leadership Action Plan
