Becky Schwartz Corbett, MSW, ACSW, leadership consultant and adjunct faculty, will be facilitating a session during MSW Orientation at The University of Alabama, School of Social Work on Wednesday, August 31, from 2-4pm. The theme for this session is, Presenting ME as a Professional Social Worker. We are so proud of our six BSW students who are completing a policy class and internship for the entire semester in Washington, DC. Ms. Corbett will be joining her colleague, Carroll C. Phelps, MSW, LCSW, Washington, DC Internship Program to discuss professional presence, behavior, and communication; resume and cover letter development; practice interview questions; and nurturing a mentor relationship. Ms. Corbett is bringing three special guests with her to interact with our students and learn more about their branding on social media, intentional growth, and mentoring.
