Becky Schwartz Corbett, MSW, ACSW, leadership consultant and adjunct faculty, will be facilitating a Lunch & Learn for BSW and MSW students at The University of Alabama, School of Social Work on Wednesday, July 27, from 12noon-1pm. The theme for this session is, The road to graduation…What can I do NOW to prepare for my first BSW/MSW job? Students who attend will take ownership of their career by identifying what they need to accomplish to obtain employment, including but not limited to, creating a resume, understanding professional networking, and practicing interviewing skills. Ms. Corbett’s famous career coaching tip, “Never, ever, ever, accept the first offer” will be chanted by the students and heard in the hallways of Capital Hall in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
