To develop your career transition plan, determine the resources needed to support your plan. Think about what you need help with and who can support you. Tap into your circle of friends and family for advice. Will your career move impact your family budget? If there will be a break in employment, do you have financial savings that will create a financial bridge?
Additionally, consider joining your industry’s professional association. Your membership will give you access to a number of resources such as industry experts, research and reports, a professional network and events. If you have mentor(s), ask them to review your resume and cover letter and make an introduction between you and an industry professional.
Spring clean your career with Producktivity® and connect with your personal and professional networks.
