In John C. Maxwell’s book, The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth, he quotes Jim Rohn:

“I used to say, ‘If you will take care of me, I will take care of you.’

  Now I say, ‘I will take care of me for you, if you will take care of you for me.'”

What a brilliant statement. Maxwell is so right. We really cannot take care of others, if we do not take care of ourselves first. When was the last time you focused on YOU?
